The Philosophy of Computer Science programme is to impart, in students, knowledge of theoretical foundations of information and communications, and of practical techniques for implementation and application in computer systems. A student the graduated from the Computer Science Programme shall be able to design and develop algorithms to solve a range of important problems.
- To provide training in theory of the foundations of computing and application of the theory in the real-world;
- To equip students with the necessary notation and reasoning capabilities;
- To provide foundation for advanced specialization and creative research activities in Computer Science;
- To impart, in students, relevant skills to maintain Information Technology (IT) systems so that they can perform optimally in operation environments.
